On 4th April 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated and the world changed forever. Thirty years later, legendary soul man Sam Moore decided to lend his vocals to the song ‘They Killed A King’, written by Belgian artist Bobbejaan Schoepen in the aftermath of King’s death. It was Tom Schoepen, son of Bobbejaan, who contacted This Is What We Do with one dedicated purpose: to create a website to aid his unique project. The result is an online site where music and images come to live in tribute to the late great civil rights leader. We enjoyed every single note of this particular project because, of course, This Is What We Do.
